Mind My Mind (#M3Movement) is a group of young people directly or indirectly affected by mental health challenges who seek to create awareness to end the stigma surrounding mental health in Kenya.
In an effort to create awareness, we plan to publish a series of e-books that will help address mental health issues, motivate and inspire people suffering from mental illnesses.
Our first e-book will be an anthology of poems that talk will address mental health issues. We would like to partner with you, yes you, lover of poetry!
We would like to publish your work on our first free e-book called “I Will Soar” that will feature positive and uplifting pieces on mental health.
We will credit you for every original work you submit. You are urged to submit their original work of art. Submit everything you would like to be considered for publication as a word document attachment to mystory@mindmymind.co.ke including your full names, social media handles and/or blog and we will get in touch with you.
All submissions should reach us on or before 20th Jan 2018 and our e-book will be published on 31st Jan 2018. We will also publish these poems on our blog and tag you on your social platforms.
Kindly let your poem address mental health issues, inspire, motivate or uplift people suffering from mental illnesses. We seek to have a standard length of poems published in our e-book, kindly do not make it too long.
We will notify all writers whose poetry will be selected for publication on email once the book is out. Kindly keep submitting your poems, we are doing a series of poetry books.
