Approximately 7,126 Kenyans commit suicide every year. This translates to around 20+ people every day.

The Nijali Foundation is a charitable mental health foundation that seeks to improve the mental health and well-being of people suffering from mental disorders.

We end the stigma surrounding mental health by creating awareness on mental health, facilitating affordable and accessible mental health support and care and advocating for mental health policies to protect the rights of mental health patients.

About the Organization

The Nijali Foundation gives mental health activists, enthusiasts, ambassadors and people who are directly or indirectly affected by mental illnesses a platform to create awareness on mental health to end the stigma, taboos and stereotypes that surround people suffering from mental illnesses in Kenya.
